I also learn that the Vicoroy is determined to
prevent the acquisition of this ground by any
foreigner; and that stringent instructions have
been sent to the Heung Chan Kegistrate to disallow
any transfer of land by natives; and that any
boundary stones erected bearing a foreign title or
namu should be at once pulled up and removed.
